The Institute for Humane Education Announces October Classes

AWTT´s partner, The Institute for Humane Education, has announced the online courses that will begin in October, 2012. Below are descriptions of the courses provided by IHE. 

"Teaching for a Positive Future" is a six-week online professional development course for educators offered by AWTTT partner Institute for Humane Education (IHE). The course which starts on Oct 8 is designed for educators who want to inspire their students to become leaders and changemakers—for creating a healthy, peaceful, and sustainable world. You'll get the support and motivation you need to teach valuable critical and creative thinking skills about our global challenges. You learn how to help students nurture connection and embrace responsibility so that they can become "solutionaries" for a better world. "A Better World, A Meaningful Life" is a four-week online course designed to help you live a life that truly reflects your values. The course, offered by AWTTT partner Institute for Humane Education (IHE) starts Oct 1,includes thoughtful and inspiring course exercises, dynamic conversations with fellow participants, mentoring from your course instructor, and a course book. You'll find the support and motivation you need to bring more joy, balance, and meaning to your life and learn how you can make a positive difference in your life—and the lives of other people animals and the planet. The cost is $135 for individuals and $100 for two or more people.
