This celebration of activism past, present and future will feature, at its center, a forum emceed by Robert Meeropol of the Rosenberg Fund for Children, with climate activist Tim DeChristopher, Joia Mukherjee of Partners in Health, and criminal justice activist Andrea James. The presenters will look at the sources of inspiration that motivate them to put themselves on the line for their beliefs.

The evening will begin with the rousing music of the Leftist Marching Band and end with the compelling rhymes of the Foundation Movement. Artist and "narrative activist" Robert Shetterly will unveil the latest addition to his inspiring portrait series "Americans Who Tell the Truth": World Fellowship Director Willard Uphaus, who was jailed for courageously defending his community during the McCarthy Era. A selection of the portraits will be on display in the church during the event.

The event will take place on May 7, 2016 from 7-9 pm at the Arlington Street Church in Boston, MA (351 Boylston Street).
